Mi playa favorita de Australia. Por algo es el lugar mas fotografiado de todo Australia.
Es como estar en el cielo ( y aun no he estado ahí :p) Whitsundays es un paraíso Australiano, un destino que no te puedes perder en tu vida. Playas de agua cristalina, donde cada día es un azul diferente, la arena es blanca tan suave y finita. ( lleva tu joyería sucia y te llevaras una sorpresa al frotarla con la arena).
Llega al mirador y obtén la mas perfecta foto de perfil, la vista que ofrece este lugar parece irreal, la imagen que crea los ríos de arena mezclados con el tono de azul del mar es mi paisaje favorito de Australia.
Visitarlo puede ser algo caro pero vale mucho la pena.

My favorite Australian beach for sure. That´s why is the most photographed place in Australia.
Is like been in heaven ( and I´ve never been there before…) Whitsundays is a Australian paradise, a place you can´t miss.
Crystalline waters, where every day turns to a different shade of color, the sand is so soft and thin. (take your dirty jewelry and rubbed it with the sand and you will get surprised!)
Go to the lookout and get the best profile picture. The view that you get in this place is unreal, the scenery of the sand rivers mixed with the different shades of blue is my favorite landscape in Australia.
Going here can be a little bit expensive but totally worth it.

Toma un aquataxi. ( para mas info sobre donde tomarlos ver al centro de información)
Te dejará en la playa que tu le indiques.
Recuerda comprar el ticket de regreso ( hablar con el chofer comentándole tu día y hora de regreso)
Qué llevar?
Lleva tu casa de campaña, comida, bebidas, ropa y calzado cómodo, cámara , bikini, repelente para mosquitos etc.

Take the aqua taxi ( where to get them, go to the information center)
It will leave you in the beach where you can camp 😉
Remember to buy the return ticket ( speak with the driver about the day and time of your return)
What to take?
Take your tent, food, drinks ( lots of water) shoes and comfortable cloths, bikini, camera, repellent etc.
Price:
Aqua taxi $105 Au dollars per person (return)
Rights to camp $ 6 Au dollars
Whitsundays vía tour:
Hay infinidad de compañías de tours, y agencias que te arreglan todo el viaje. ( incluso hay tours en Chino 😉 )
También hay tours que ofrecen un ambiente de fiesta y otros que son “menos ruidosos”.
Tours de 1, 2, 3 días.
Para mi gusto si lo que deseas es solo ver Whitsundays te recomendaría tomar el tour de 2 días una noche ya que el camino a Whitsundays es algo largo desde Airlie Beach ( aprox 1.5 horas). Ejemplo el tour de un solo día sale a las 9:30 am en lo que llegas, ya es tarde y cuenta el tiempo de regreso. Para cada actividad te dan aproximadamente 30 minutos lo cual me parece muy apresurado.
Cada compañía maneja un diferente itinerario, antes de agendar investiga exactamente el plan, por ejemplo un tour puede incluir mas destinos para snorkel, otros mas tiempo para estar en la playa etc.
Extra TIP – compra tu tour via www.bookme.com Es mucho mas barato que en una agencia , OJO agenda con anticipación ya que la demanda es muy grande.
Precio- 100- 600 AU dólares varía dependiendo de la demanda, y donde lo compres claro.
No olvides llevar tu Camara aquatica, o las famosas bolsitas para tu celular para que no le entre agua, vale mucho la pena para tomar fotos en las cristalinas aguas de Whitehaven beach, o mientras haces snorkel.
Whitsundays By Tour
There is infinity of companies that offer the service, even agencies who organice everything for you, there are tours in different languages that English: Chinese, Spanish, etc.
There are party tours and chill tours. Tours that last from 1 to more days.
For me, if you just want to see Whitsundays the best option will be the 2 days tour, because to get to Whitsundays is quite far. Approximately 1.5 hours. For example the 1 day tour starts at 9:30 sum the time to get there, to organize etc, and the return time. It only let you stay at the lookout 30 min, at the beach 1 hour, snorkel 30 minutes ( very short time for me).
Each company works with different itinerary of course. Before booking check the itinerary and see if adapts of what you want to do. For example some of them includes more snorkel time others more time to spend at the beach etc.
******Extra tip******
Book your tour at www.bookme.com is much cheaper than do it by agency, but book with anticipation because there is a lot of demand.
Price: between 100 and 600 Au dollars. It depends where do you buy it, days of stay etc.
Do not forget to take your water camera, or the famous plastic bags for your smart phone because the pictures under water are very worth it.
Whitsundays via Yate
Vas con un grupo de amigos o realmente quieres tomar tu tiempo para explorar este paraíso?
Renta un Yate , emociónate teniendo un “ sailing trip ( INVESTIGAR NOMBRE EN ESPAÑOL) duerme bajo las estrellas, pesca tu cena, haz snorkel las veces que quieras, toma tu tiempo tomando la fotografía perfecta de Whitsundays, explora playas secretas lejos de los turistas.
Se muy respetuoso cada vez que hagas snorkel, recuerda que la gran barrera de coral es uno de los pulmones del planeta.
No pises el coral, no toques nada, no tires basura. El coral es increíblemente sensible aparte de muy peligroso. Sobre todo en Australia hay muchas especies que pueden ser mortíferas.
Airlie beach fue golpeada recientemente por un fuerte ciclón, es triste como el coral fue fuertemente dañado, así como su flora en las montañas. Ayúdalo a recuperarse respetándolo.
Este es un paraíso que todos deben tener el derecho de disfrutar en un futuro, es de todos nosotros, cuidémoslo.

Whitsundays by private boat
Are you going with a group of friends or you just want to take it nice and chill taking your time to explore this paradise?
Rent a boat and get excited having a sailing trip, sleep under the stars, fish your dinner, do snorkel as many times you want, or take your time to take the best picture, explore the secret beaches away of the tourist.
Be very respectful every time you do snorkel, remember that the Great Barrier Reef is one of the lungs of this planet.
Do not touch the coral, do not step on them, don’t throw rubbish. The coral is extremely sensible and can be very dangerous. Specially in Australia there are so many deadly species.
Recently Airlie beach was heated by a cyclone so is very sad to see how everything is strongly damaged. So help it to recover by respecting.
This is a paradise were we all deserve to enjoy it. Lets give the opportunity to the future generations to wonder with this place, is our duty to take care of it.
