NUSA ISLANDS
This paradise is very close from Bali, I departed from Kuta Lombok though, by boat. Definitely if you go to Bali Nusa Islands is a must.
This Islands are very close each other, 3 Islands very different from each other. The size from the biggest to the smallest : Penida, Lembongan, and Ceningan. The order that I follow to visit them was this one:
Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan.
Best order to visit them?
I did it in this order because I wanted to visit the biggest one first ( Penida) and because I always had a special interest in this Island. And I did right because was my favorite. Then I went to Lembongan and Ceningan last.
Wich one is better?
At the begging I couldn’t´t decided wich one to visit because I thought I didn´t have the time, of course each Island has their unique beauty.
And I would say that If you are already there you should visit them all. You know, you can never know when you will ever come back, but if I had to choose one for sure will be Nusa Penida.
Her landscapes with cliffs, her beaches. For me she was the most beautiful of the Nusas.

NUSAS ISLANDS
Este increíble paraíso se encuentra muy cerca de Bali, yo llegué aquí desde Kuta Lombok en lancha. Si vas a Bali, definitivamente recomiendo que visites las Nusas.
Orden de visita
Estas Islas están muy cerca la una de la otra, el orden que yo seguí para visitarlas fue este: Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembogan y Nusa Ceningan.
3 islas diferentes de la una a la otra, en tamaño de mayor a menor : Penida, Lembongan y Ceningan.
Decidì esto porque quise dejar la Isla mas grande primero y la que me llamaba más la atención y la verdad hice bien porque Nusa Penida fue mi favorita.
Cual es mas bonita ?
Yo no podía decidirme entre cual de todas Islas visitar, y es que cada Isla tiene su belleza por supuesto.La verdad es que si ya estás ahí, yo diría que visitaras las 3 porque uno nunca sabe cuando puedas regresar, pero si tuviera que decidirme entre una definitivamente sería Nusa Penida.
Sus paisajes me parecieron mucho mas bonitos por sus playas y acantilados.

When you first arrive there will be guys offering their transport services : rent of scooter or they will over to be your personal tourist driver.
Accommodation
There are plenty of hostels, book with time because this Island is very popular. People are so hospitable and friendly even they don´t speak much english.
Hostels and Hotels, are cheap and beautiful so don’t break your head much, because you are going to spend much of your time out so don’t worries too much 😉
Transport
This Island has a very bad roads, making clear that I visit this place in October 2017 maybe the roads changed now .
The tourist guide push me in a good way to learn to drive scooter so I did, but I kind of regret because those roads were crazy, I am proud of course, but those roads need to take serious.
They are not flat, they are not even, they are ver tight and rocky.
Locals recommend to use the Motocross style bikes because they are higher so better for the kind of roads. I don’t want to scare you, but I saw many people coming back to the hostel injured because of the roads and their no experience. Even though they were people who were unscathed like me 🙂
Another way to see this Island is to go by tour in a van, but personally this way is quite tight because you know you don´t have the freedom of stoping wherever you want, the time you want etc.

Al llegar a la Isla lo primero que encontraras es chicos queriéndote vender o rentar motocicletas o ellos mismos se ofrecerán a llevarte a los destinos turísticos.
Transporte
Esta Isla tiene carreteras terriblemente feas, aclaro que yo visite esta Isla en Octubre del 2017 no sè como están los caminos en este momento.
El guia turistico de esta Isla me impulsó a manejar por primera vez un scooter y la verdad me siento orgullosa de decirlo que lo hice por primera vez en estas carreteras tan peligrosas ( me refiero a que no eran planas, muy angostas y rocosas ).
Pero me arrepiento porque fue muy arriesgado de mi parte para ser mi primera vez.
De hecho los locales recomiendan usar las motocicletas mas altas tipo Moto cross para poder manejar mas seguramente en esos caminos.
No quiero asustar pero me tocó ver a mucha gente herida, no tomen a la ligera que las carreteras de esta Isla son peligrosas, aunque bueno, también hubo gente que salió ilesa como yo gracias a Dios.
También hay opciones de recorrerla en grupos grandes de tour pero les recomiendo mas ir independientes porque así tu decides cuanto tiempo pasas en cada lugar, a qué lugar vas etc.
Estadía
Hostales hay varios, agenda con tiempo porque este lugar es muy popular. La gente es increíblemente linda, hospitalaria a pesar de que la mayoría no habla inglés.
Los hostales son bastantes lindos y baratos así que no se quiebren la cabeza mucho ;).

This two places are so close each other so I would count this two places for one day. And perfectly spend the whole day here.

Here you can book to stay in a lovely tree houses right in front of the amazing view.

- Kelingking Beach. My favorite place ^.^ Get ready to sweat here, to get to the view is easy but to get to the beach you have to get through stairs wich actually are not very secure. Take enough water but not too much because at the top there is the typical coconut-refreshing store. So go mentalized and you will be all right, but trust me there is a reward. ( as always)

( mi lugar favorito) Vete preparado para hacer un buen tracking en una parte tienes que casi escalar así que te recomiendo llevar suficiente agua ( para el camino) porque al llegar a la cima venden agua y cocos deliciosos. Ir mentalmente preparado para subir escaleras super super empinadas pero wooow el premio de llegar hace que valga muchísimo la pena. ( como siempre ).

This place is nice, normally this is the last destiny of the day, were you see the sunset.
Its nice, but I think Kelingking Beach Is better for the golden hour.

Este lugar es muy lindo, normalmente se usa como el ultimo destino del día en Nusa Penida ( sì, yo fui a todos los lugares en un solo día). Lo cual no aconsejo porque es mas lindo tomarte el tiempo y disfrutar con calma cada lugar, pero igual para que sepan que sí es posible verlos todos en un día.
Este lugar es muy lindo para el atardecer aunque mi favorito para el atardecer sería Kelingking Beach.

How many days do I need to visit this Island?
I did all this places in one day, yeap you can make it but I definitely don’t recommend it. Because you are in a rush, and trust me there is some places were you make a connection and you just wanna stay there, so its better to have the freedom of time.
And for sure is not safe to drive in darkness.
Another thing is I couldn’t visit the whole Island, I missed very nice places, so for sure there is more to see.
Trust in the locals they know the nicest and safest places ;).
****Extra tip: I went there in October and I witness a beautiful ceremony full of flowers, colors and love. So hopefully you can make it.

Cuanto tiempo se necesita para recorrer esta Isla?
Como mencioné puedes visitar todos estos lugares en un solo día pero yo no lo recomiendo porque lo tendrías que hacer muy apresurado y la verdad vale mas la pena disfrutarlos con calma, ya que son demasiado hermosos.
Y no aconsejo manejar en la oscuridad por esas carreteras tan siniestras.
Yo solo pude visitar un lado de la Isla, así que seguramente hay mas lugares maravillosos que conocer, yo les recomiendo como en todos los lugares que se dejen guiar por los locales, quienes mas para aconsejarlos?

En el mes de Octubre hay una celebración hermosa, la que fuimos suertudas de presenciar.
Llena de flores, y colores bellísimos, solamente que obviamente solo te dejan apreciar como espectador. No puedes entrar a la ceremonia.

Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan are connected by a very cool bridge, you can only pass by scooter.
This Bridge make it perfect to visit this two Islands in just one day 😉 thats what I did.
You can make it, in a rush but you can make it. As I said, I don’t recommend it, the beauty is a lot to be in a rush.

Nusa Lembongan y Nusa Ceningan estàn unidas por un puente precioso, que solo puedes pasar en Scooter.
Lo que las hace perfectas para visitar en un día ( eso hice yo) .
Es algo precipitado pero se puede lograr. Repito yo recomiendo tomarse su tiempo.
No tuve la oportunidad de ver muchos lugares en esta Isla porque la visité de prisa pero obviamente pude ver :

- Devil’s tear
This places is very beautiful specially the highlight the : Devil´s tear, I don´t understand why they called it like that but, that fun swirl is amazing. Careful because this place is too famous for Instagramer obsessed girls so is going to be very crowded if you go in the wrong moment.

Este lugar es muy lindo sobre todo por la gran atracción del remolino de espuma que provocan el choco de las olas, les recomiendo ir en una hora estratégica porque cuando yo fui estaba inmensamente lleno y eran muy difícil las fotografìas.
Este lugar en el atardecer debe ser bellísimo.

This tour doesn´t take long, maybe 45 minutes back. I just love Mangroves, it was so beautiful.

El tour no es muy largo, pero es precioso, los manglares siempre son hermosos y valen la pena.

NUSA CENINGAN
Of the 3 this is is the smallest Island, you can wander by foot! Wich I don’t really recommend it because it was too hot, and not many shades around. I just did the half of the Island though.
La Isla es la mas chiquita de las 3, se puede recorrer caminando! Es una locura, yo lo hice, aunque solo recorrí la mitad de la Isla porque nos daba temor manejar Scooter, la recorrimos caminando, pero el calor es infernal así que no lo recomiendo.
Desconozco de la otra mitad de la Isla, pero la mitad que conocí wooow, es hermosa.

I didn’t jump jeje, but I am sure the jump is amazing, even if you don´t jump like me, the view is worth it, plus you can enjoy some drinks and meet new people 😀 how good sounds that?

Yo no saltè, pero seguro es increíble saltar, jeje, aunque no saltes vale la pena ir a este lugar porque es muy lindo. Aparte el café done esta este lugar es precioso para pasar la tarde compartiendo unos tragos, conocer gente, relajarte y disfrutar de la vida.

Another beautiful beach with turquoise waters, white sand, you can get used to in Indonesia.

I don´t Surf ( yet) but those surfers looked they were having so much fun. Could you imagine ?
Spend the whole day, maybe a week or why not a month surfing in this paradise?

Wich Island is Better?
When I thought I couldn’t make to visit the 3 Islands, I was so stressed because each of them has their beauty. If you really can’t make the 3, I would say visit Penida FOR SURE
The easiest way is to rent a scooter and get lost in this Islands but if you don’t feel safe like me, don’t worries 😉 there is always the option of the lovely locals who will be happy to guide you.
The price of scooter was 5 dlls the day ( at the moment).

Cual Isla es la mejor?
Yo no podía decidirme entre cual de todas Islas visitar, y es que cada Isla tiene su belleza por supuesto. Pero si tuviera que decidirme entre una definitivamente sería Nusa Penida.
Todas se recorren mejor en Scooter, pero sino manejas Scooter no te preocupes 😉 siempre hay bellos locales que te pueden ayudar a manejar, y contarte los secretos de estas Islas.
El precio por scooter puede ser entre 5 doblares por día aprox.
